Saigon Cai Be Vinh Long one day tour

This tour brings you to the unseen Mekong Delta area where you get lots of interactions with local villagers who are simple, humble but special.

The destination to visit is Cai Be and Vinh Long.

Here is the tour route: : 

• Ho Chi Minh to Cai Be (of Tien Giang Province) : 02 hours
• Time to visit Cai Be (all activities and lunch) : 03 hours
• Cai Be to Vinh Long by boat : 01 hour
• Vinh Long Back to Saigon : 2,5 hours

DETAILED ITINERARY:

At your chosen time (we suggest 8.00 AM), our guide and car pick you up at your hotel and enjoy the 2 hour drive to Cai Be town of Tien Giang Province. Enjoy some friendly and informative talks with our guide.

Upon arrival at Cai Be boat station, you will board your private boat to explore the village life. Make some stops at the following sites:

• A traditional village – you will witness by your naked eyes how the local make rice paper, popped rice and coconut candy. These are their traditional careers for centuries.

• An optional bike tour for 5-8km can be made if you are interested to see some more local families with traditional careers.
• Visit a local family to enjoy DON CA TAI TU – a kind of folk music and acting while trying some tropical fruits. Later, walk around the fruit garden to witness the real fruits on their trees such as Durians, rambutans, longans, mangos, milk apples, guavas, pineapples and so much else (Fruits are seasonal and change the whole year round)

• A local family where you learn how to make some common cakes and foods. Enjoy lunch with the family and rest. This is a great way for you to interact with the locals and make lunch with them.

• Enjoy a 20 minute Sampan boat ride along a small canal to have a true feel of how the local people moved on water ways century ago.

• After all, get back to your private boat and cruise for an hour to Vinh Long city. The sceneries along the cruise are captivating and picturesque. You will get closer to the local people’s lively activities.
• Upon arrival at Vinh Long boat station, get back in our private car and drive back to Saigon for about 2.5 hours with a toilet stop.
