Hoa Lu District of Ninh Binh is Vietnam’s former Kingdom from the Dinh Dynasty (968-980). It’s a peaceful area surrounded by mountains and lakes. Coming to Ninh Binh, you will have a chance to travel back to the old days to immerse yourself into Vietnamese cultures and history.
This tour will take you to visit 3 MUST-SEE places : Trang An complex (UNESCO natural heritage), Hang Mua Cave (a small mountain which has a great view on top with a giant dragon statue) and Hoa Lu ancient citadel.
DETAILED ITINERARY:
7h30 -8.00 AM : Our tour guide and driver will pick you you and drive to Ninh Binh in 2 hours.
Upon arrival at Hoa Lu district of Ninh Binh, we will visit 3 places as follows:
- Hang Mua Cave. Hang Mua is a mountain overlooking to a vast rice paddy field and other mountains. It’s really worthy getting to the top by easy steps to enjoy the great view and fresh air on top. It also has some small caves you can discover.
- 12h00: Enjoy lunch at local restaurant.
- After lunch, visit Hoa Lu ancient capital which is a very important relic of Viet Nam under the Dinh Dynasty (968-980). From our guide, you will learn some hidden stories during this period about our kings and royal family, as well as admire the great architectures from 1.100 years ago.
- Trang A natural lake complex – UNESCO NATURAL HERITAGE. This is the highlight of the trip. Take a small bamboo boat excursion from Trang A wharf to explore the hidden beauty of the area in 2 hours. Take the best and romantic photos of yourself from the boat.
- Get back to the wharf and we have an option. If you like, you can rent a bicycle to bike around small roads, through the rice paddies among the mountains with our guide.
About 5.00 PM: get back in to our car and drive back to Hanoi capital.
7h30 PM: You will get dropped off at your hotel
Evening time is on your own.
